Advaita Privacy Policy

Advaita will collect personal information when you use the Advaita Cloud Solution, or other solutions provided by Advaita.  Personal information collected by Advaita may consist of the account name, e-mail, IP address, other relevant information required for account registration, usage statistics, and other related information either directly supplied by the user or indirectly supplied through use of the application. These data will be used for product registration, verification of access, and/or technical support. Data may also be used to improve the product or to customize the application.

Advaita may use these data collected for marketing purposes of Advaita products or services.  Advaita will not sell or otherwise pass on this information to any third parties except for the purpose of marketing specialized or localized versions of Advaita products, or in cases of fulfilling enforceable legal requests.

By selecting “I Agree” you “Opt-In” to receiving email from Advaita for the purpose of notifications of account activity, notifications, and marketing, and other general communication purposes.

Input Data submitted for analysis to the Advaita Cloud Solution will be transmitted to Advaita’s server(s) using secure SSL, analyzed, and retained on the Advaita Cloud Solution to allow for the viewing and retrieval of the results by the Licensee.  In general, only you have access to your data, unless you actively share it with someone else.

Any results generated within the Advaita Cloud Solution will be retained on the Advaita servers for the purpose of evaluation by the Licensee for purchase.  Metadata may be retained by Advaita indefinitely as a measure to assess usage and to protect against fraud or misuse of the application. If the user purchases an Application Result, the results will be available for a period of no less than one (1) year.  A web link to the results will be transmitted to the user’s registered email address and also available in the user’s dashboard.  

Use of the Advaita Cloud Solution will necessitate the transmittal of and access to proprietary or third-party databases, algorithms, applications, and tools, which are governed by the Advaita End-User License Agreement (EULA). 

A limited group of Advaita employees have the ability and authorization to access Advaita’s server(s) for maintenance or technical support purposes, and these employees are fully aware of the restrictions outlined in this Privacy Policy.

The Advaita Cloud Solution is fully HIPAA compliant (45 CFR Part 160, Part 162, and Part 164), however, users may not submit ePHI unless they or their institutions have entered into a separate Business Associate Addendum (BAA) with Advaita.  Please contact sales@advaitabio.com for a BAA.

The Advaita Cloud Solution contains links to enable the user to visit other websites that might provide additional information. Whenever these links are used to leave the Advaita Cloud Solution, Advaita cannot be held responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that is provided whilst visiting these external sites.  Any external sites are NOT governed by this Privacy Policy. Users should check the privacy statement(s) applicable to any external site they visit.

Advaita reserves the right to modify or augment this Privacy Policy at any time. The most recent version will always be available through login page or the users account page. By continuing to use the Advaita Cloud Solution you agree to any revisions made to this document.
